    Well this is just the ticket! I've got things that need doing and so here goes: Hand stitch binding to table runner I just made, add sleeves to 4 wall hangings (2 are gifts), add a label to one, make 2 double sided fleece blankets - fringed at top and bottom. I just took all my batting scraps and placed on the floor so that I can go thru them and label them and get them organized. If time, I've got the cutest quilt panel of three snowman that my daughter in law just loved and so I plan to add simple borders and at least get the top done. That's my list. Great idea!! Thanks for posting!!

    Hey Rob, I'm in for those cookies and coffee!

    Today I ran back to JoAnn's to look for some things in their sale that I missed yesterday. Didn't buy a lot... just some patterns and a huge book by Leah Day: 365 Free Motion Quilting Designs. Once I started thumbing through it I had to have it! When I got home I made another dress to add to the pile of charity dresses, and tonight I'll go up to my quilting room and see what I can get into. Maybe practice some of those 365 designs?

    Tomorrow I'm going to try and get some quilting done.

    It was fun to see your blocks, Kitsie, and your rows, Thimblebug.

    Kitsie, your second block (red and yellow) is a pattern I have been wanting to use for a quilt out of men's plaid shirts. Mine will be 12" blocks tho.

    Worked today at the art gallery, so I took something along to do. Rip-pit the last row and resewed it. DH took it to the LQS for display, I'm teaching a class. Then did a multi media picture on canvas. It had acrylic paint, fabric and weeds.

    Tomorrow is packing to drive Sunday to Lake Tahoe for a 5 day Art Retreat. I'll be in the quilt room.

    So I'll miss the VQW, pout.....

    [QUOTE=Macybaby;8105089]nice rows!

    I turned in my Row by Row quilt last Saturday, and it's now hanging in the quilt shop.

    Did you post a picture of it? I searched quickly and didn't see one.

    I plan to join the quilt along. I have 32 blocks to finish with two more strips & cornerstnes. Then I have to decide how I want to place them & get started on that.

    didn't get anything done today, but count me in for at least Sat.--I have a quilt on the frame that I want to make a lot of headway on, and I also want to work on a pattern for an item for our guild show boutique.

    I have an Irish Chain on one machine, a baby quilt started by my deceased SIL on another and a queen quilt ready to measure and see it's large enough to sandwich and start quilting, so I have my weekend planned.

    I'm in, but only part-time. Things to do and places to go on both days. I am going to work on my 9 WIPs to finish the handwork on the bindings. I know not all will be done, but anything will be progress!

    I am seriously making plans to schedule to be completely free to be involved in the Labor Day weekend with y'all. ... I have a ton saved up to finish ... a couple UFOs, several dozens crib sheets, many WIPs, just for a start! Yikes!
