If you are heading towards Oxford or Milton Keynes and will have a car, I can look up the names and directions of the ones I went to while we lived there.

Thank you HettyB, I will add the Berwick Market to my Liberty of London field trip and hope to get there tomorrow. Nery’s thank you for the Glasgow information as we will be heading to Scotland (via the train to Waverly to pick up a car) next week.

RJLinkletter, I agree that London is full of other wonderful things but I thought I might find something interesting for a Christmas exchange gift.

    thank you all

I do hope you get to go to a shop. Ten years ago I was in London and accidently found a place that was selling flat folds and had a wonderful time choosing and talking and looking! Yes maybe they were a bit more money but it was well worth it! Enjoy your journey. Safe travels!

Had a couple of extra hours to kick around this afternoon after our Westminster Abbey Tour so got on the Tube to Oxford Circle...found Liberty of London and MacColloch and Wallis quite easily. Picked up a few pincushions for Christmas gifts. Thank you for your suggestions.

Thanks for the pictures but my goodness there does not seem to be much fabric to choose from.

I hope you had a chance to look at Liberty’s button wall. I found their collection inspiring. I also liked looking at all their fabric, especially for home decor. My favorite quilt shop was a tiny one in Winchester. They had adorable fabric and it was so tiny and quaint.

Hope you are having a fabulous time.

London is such a great city, I cannot wait to go back! I've never been to the shop in person but I've ordered fabric from the UK from Lovely Jubbly Fabrics on Etsy.
