    Thank you! I tend to be really matchy matchy, so I usually go towards a consistent background, but I the pattern for this quilt was done with the different backgrounds and for some reason the lightbulb went on for me. I figured no reason the backgrounds have to match on an applique right?

    Your quilt is stunning.!! I love each block and how things are put on point. Your quilting is perfect. Congratulations! I think only you will see any problem with the applique. No one else is going to take note of it. Thank you for sharing this very pretty quilt.
