Default suggestions for shows on Netflix

Looking for recommendations for shows on Netflix. Somewhere I saw people recommending "something Lane". Now I've forgotten the first word. Can somebody fill in the word for me, please? And I'd like other suggestions of actual entertainment --good stuff! I think I've watched all the episodes of Virgin River and loved that one.

We started watching Firefly Lane last night. It's a series. Pretty good.

Currently watching "Schitt's Creek". Funny in an awkward quirky way if you like that kind of show. I do :-).

I loved The Queen's Gambit. I had heard it was about chess and that sounded boring. Don't let that scare you, there is a whole lot more going on than chess.

I was not a fan of Firefly Lane.

I liked, "Nomadland," (maybe it's on Hulu, I'm not sure.) I love Francis McDormand and she's the main star in this movie. It's slow moving, not any plot really, but her acting is superb.

For wry, dark humor that got a little too close to home for me, "I Care a Lot." I had a family member who is very similar to the lead character (right down to the over styled hair and BMWs.) She actually tried to do what this story is about, unsuccessfully, thank goodness. I still liked the movie. Rosamond Pike does a good job as the lead.

Right now, I'm watching, "Good Girls," series. It's cute...kind of like, "Weeds," which is excellent, if you haven't seen it.

We've been catching up on Peaky Blinders, but watched the Dig last night and really liked it. Since we know Yellowstone will start again we are holding off on Bridgerton as we fall down too many tv "rabbit holes" as it is.

We liked "The Killing". I think it's older.
