Happy Birthday to you! You sound so upbeat and cheerful. I surely do admire that. A new home, a new machine and you are genuinely excited - so refreshing. Lots of folks your age (that I know personally) kind of seem to have given up and don't get to excited about anything anymore. You are a breath of fresh air and so much fun to read your post. I sincerely wish you the best in your life in your new surroundings. Take care.

Happy Birthday. I just turned 80. How nice that you can be so close to family and have a nice room for all your sewing. Sounds like you will be busy with all your projects. I have fabric and patterns of my mom's that I should work on. Have so many projects and ideas in mind, don't think I will ever finish them.

Thank you all for your wonderful and encouraging comments...as soon as I learn how to post pics of my new sewing room, my daughter will know how to do that..I will share the pics..I love my sewing room, I have lots of collective things, and it's all out for me to see...and enjoy..some may think it's overdone with things, but not for me..I think I have done well, fixing up a bedroom, bath and sewing room with things from my other home that had 11 rooms..had to let a lot of things go, but family took a lot..Goodwill has gotten some, and the new buyers of my home, bought several things that they wanted..so all in all I came out very well..
Happy Quilting everyone..... a little about my new machine...tried the automatic threader three times, still didn't thread the needle..got out my book, read it and tried again..finally silly me....the machine wasn't "ON" got a laugh out of that..and it threaded the needle just fine after it was on...laugh and learn..!!!
