Raise presser foot lever.
Hold needle thread loosely in left band and rotate hand wheel toward you one complete turn.
Bring bobbin thread up by pulling upper thread.
There is a youtube video that shows bringing the bobbin thread up about 4:31 of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ApR2dnb4IqQHold needle thread loosely in left band and rotate hand wheel toward you one complete turn.

Hope that helps.
A lot of people have trouble posting pictures. Sometimes it takes a while for them to load. My stock instructions are:
Welcome to Quilting Board. For some unknown reason, when one goes to post an image, it says the limit is 5MB, however the limit is actually 2MB. A lot of people have trouble posting pictures here.
We like pictures. In order to post pictures on Quilting Board, you will probably need to reduce or compress the picture to a file size that is smaller than 2MB. How to post images can be found at https://www.quiltingboard.com/attach...020-01-17-.pdf and on an ipad at Posting Pictures From an iPad
Don't forget to scroll over to the far right to find and click on the "Upload" button. As shown at Standard Sewing Machine Co. Paragon
I have found that only the big red "Reply" button or "Quote" work to give me the paper clip icon to work for adding pictures.
https://www.quiltingboard.com/attach...p-location.jpg
Some additional info regarding reducing images at post #4 and images for the scroll and upload button can be found at #5 of quilt block ID?
Another way to post pictures can be found at 2021/2022, 2.5” Birthday Swap
And how to use an ipad to post pictures can be found at Uploading photos and Posting Pictures From an iPad
Or simply - Make sure pictures are smaller than 2MB
Click on red "Reply" button
Click on the paper clip icon
Click browse - choose picture/s. (only 5 allowed per post)
Once they show up as being loaded, Scroll over to the right side and click on "Upload"
After the pictures show up as being attached, you can close that window and go back to the screen to finish posting your post. This sometimes takes a while and is indicated in this image by the red arrow. https://www.quiltingboard.com/attach...8-uploaded.jpg
Some additional notes -
The photos generally need to be reduced to less than 2MB in size. I have heard of people sending an email to themselves as it will ask if you want to reduce the size.
I have an android phone and when I tried to reply on Quilting Board while in mobile view None of the options for adding pictures was available. However, there is an option down at the bottom left of the page that is for Full Site when I tapped on "Full Site" It then looked like the way it looks on my lap top. So it would have the Red Reply and the Go Advanced options.
Do Not Preview post.

I was trying to upload a 215kb photo and it would not do it. I only use desktop and laptops to browse online. Thanks for the youtube link.
The smileys don't work right either what I click on doesn't come up ... something totally different.

Well I found a nice video that's showed me how to hook up the bobbin ...
On Youtube
But when I tried to sew ... it didn't sew ... just a thread mess ... the thread on the machine broke ... what did I do wrong?

Wish you could post pictures on the thread. I see you could get an avatar image. Perhaps you can start an album in your profile. Some have had better luck posting images there.
I'm wondering if the needle is inserted correctly. I believe that the flat of the shank should be on the right side and is then threaded left to right. It looks like the video for threading the bobbin that you found should work on your machine. The direction the thread is going in the bobbin makes a difference. Also the top thread needs to go through all the correct places. The tension dial should probably be set so the number 4 is at the top. Did you bring the bobbin thread up to the top of the needle plate and then bring both threads behind the presser foot probably about three inches. It is advised to hold onto the threads when you begin to sew. While I usually put the presser foot down before I begin sewing, there are some that don't. They start like is shown in the 301 manual https://www.manualslib.com/manual/45...?page=9#manual where you have the take up lever in the highest position (as that is where there is the most thread between spool and needle). Place fabric under presser foot, turn hand wheel until the needle is in the fabric, then put the presser foot down.
If you are in the Denver metro area, I could probably help better.

I thought I had responded to your last post. If you have the manual, make sure you are following the directions on how to thread the machine, both upper and bobbin. Another possibility in addition to the ones given previously, would be that the pressure isn't engaged properly.
Sure would help if you could post some pictures of your machine and what it is doing.

Wellsir ... I tried to upload a 229 kb photo of how loose the thread is on the machine after the tension ... I got the failed to upload ... I made sure it was thread correct there so I don't know why it is like this.
I post a photo on another forum and see if I can't provide a link.

I can't quite tell for sure, but it looks like it is threaded correctly. If you have it threaded like in the video referred to in other forum, take notice of where the red notch is at on the tension dial. In your picture it is right above the Zero "0" In the video it looks to be at the line past the three "3" at about 4. While I said "The tension dial should probably be set so the number 4 is at the top." I was partially wrong as it is not that number should be at the top - the red notch should be at about 4. After you have it threaded through the needle, lower the presser foot. Gently tug on the thread. You should feel some resistance, but not so much. Archaic Arcane has a good page about upper tension at https://archaicarcane.com/fragile-te...-equal-stress/ While she is working with a Singer machine, which is slightly different as the dial turns so that the numbers are on top of the dial, the principle is the same. The dial needs to be turned. On your machine the outer wheel of the tension dial turns so that the notch moves.
Hopefully, we will get you sewing properly, soon.
