I lusted over that quilt, too, but didn't buy it. You did a wonderful job; it is gorgeous.

Default Revisiting Misty/Misted Pines 2.0 Quilt by Patti Carey

Greetings. I recently discovered the stunning Misted Pines 2.0 quilt pattern and immediately bought a starter kit on Etsy. I regret I cannot make sense of the alphabetical use (e.g., 1b or 1d, etc.) of letters which seems to contradict older versions of this quilt. In those older versions, alphabetics (a-b-c-d) in the cutting instructions refer to the fabric themselves. I suppose these designations could refer to units, but I'd like to know for sure. Not knowing is probably unnecessary to cutting out the pattern pieces, but I would rest easier if I knew.

I am hoping someone who has completed this quilt could shed light on this minor mystery. I would be so grateful. Many thanks and best.

    Default Misty Pines Quilt

Thimblebug6000--that is exactly what I am hoping to do. So what you are saying is that I should start from scratch? I would have done, prior to your reply to my email, in the hopes of 'looping' in all the 2015 Misted Pines enthusiasts, but I appreciate your advice, especially about the inactive members, and will take action accordingly. I will keep you posted! Thank you SEW much for your help and interest.
    Best regards again, Fran
