Moon, very stylish. You’ll get used to them fast. You’re a good sport to be her “client”.
Terriamn, hope it isn’t a long drive to Bismark. You just got out of the car last week after two days of driving. Congrats on your Grand’s graduation! They grow up so fast.
Looks like DH’s ankle is nearly mended. He has his final doc appt today. He’s not limping at all now and says he only feels a little soreness occasionally. He’s almost 100 percent. Life is returning to normal now.
Have a good day, Bloomers.

Moon, love the nails. How fun.
Bismark is a 6 hour ride. We will probably drive 3 hours and stop for lunch. Then back on the road, 6 hours should be a walk in the park after the 25 hour ride from Texas. Her folks and siblings will arrive about 10 PM , we are filling in for them. Several different events starting at 4 PM on Friday. Can’t wait to see her and Bismark N.D. Have never been in that area and the only thing I know about it is it’s supposed to be flat and windy
Today’s goal was 2 blocks but when you cut or sew everything wrong it takes way much more time. I did get frustrated but just your average every day frustration not the kind to send me into a funk

Oh Nana! Those nails are amazing! Careful when you go fishing because they will lure in lots of fishees if your fingers are dipping in the water because of the bright turquoise and gold glistens. I like them!! Kudos to the granddaughter.
SBG -- That quilt is beautiful! I can't see anyone using it like a quilt though. Gorgeous piece of artwork.
I'm loving the slow roll out of the Bloomer blocks. This will be a fun art show in itself.

Pretty block, Terriamn. Sorry you had a rough piecing day. Tomorrow will be better! I'm glad you don't have a terribly long trip to ND. As you said, it's easy compared to the ride for TX.
I'm making a block about every other day which is much more slowly than usual. Now I'm selecting f8s that I consider tougher to work with, like those with large motifs. I've got one done but haven't taken pix yet. I'll try to post it tomorrow. I'm wondering what people find difficult. I've heard some not liking two color blocks, which of course I love to make.
Hope everyone gets their packages soon.

I decided to keep the cow blocks for a different quilt. If you receive the farm fat 1/8 and want to use green please use the green of the trees on your fat 1/8 . Not the sample green I sent with. Thank you and sorry for the confusion

Hi Terriamn, I have the farm fabric. There wasn’t a sample green with mine. I’ll just use the green in the trees with the other colors as you suggest.

LAF, I included as one of your fabrics from me a piece of green and white batik with a blue square. This is what I used in Boom 34. I need another block so since you haven’t worked with it before, I gave it to you. If you want to see what others did with it, look up Boom 34 in the Gallery under my name.
Reminder to everyone that because we didn’t quite fill the swap, we have duplicates of some fabrics. Those of you in two groups may see more than two pieces of the same between both groups. This is normal.
Also, as you post photos, please try to keep them in the 200kb size range to save me a step in my process of transferring them to the gallery in Weebly. It’s greatly appreciated.
im off to work on a block. Have a grand day.

In the last hour I have received two text messages from someone claiming to be from USPS regarding problems with a delivery address. They included a tracking number that did not match any packages I sent. I have never had a problem with USPS or Pirate Ship to date but this is very suspicious and I did not click the link for further info. In the event this has originated from some kind of a hack through Pirate Ship, the company I use for shipping, I may not be the only one to get this text. I advise you not to click the link or open any download should one appear.
Just a heads up.
