Alaska Sunshine, I noticed that too. But it was only 3 or 4 blocks and I took them and put them in soda water to soak for a few days. Hope that helps.
Your block was one of my favorite ones. I loved that fabric that had the words hope in it. All of them together were beautiful. Happy I reveived one.

All non-smokers are highly sensitive to smoke smells. It always amazes me that some - very few - quilters smoke. To go through all the cost of fabric, the time spent, etc. only to have your beautiful quilt smell like cigarettes.
