Hi all,

I just wanted to let everyone know that I've received Ninnie's centre from Omak.

It's absolutely gorgeous in person, and I'll be taking it to my weekly sewing group meeting tonight to get the ladies there (who have *way* more quilting experience than me) to help me with ideas for the next border.

Jan, I have just seen your pic of my quilt centre - Thank you Thank you, Thank You, it is really looking great, and all of you who have worked on it have made it what it is. I am beginning to get itchy fingers for it to come home. As for size Jan, I have a king size bed, so it needed to be a fair size. Sorry if it took a lot of fabric, but all the borders are brilliant, I am thrilled with how it looks.

Sorry ladies got a hiccup. Camera battery flat. when I tried to recharge it the plug had a twisted prong and wouldnīt fit in the socket. Well me being me with no patience I pushed it and it broke. Found another camera, brand new never been out of the box, all singing and dancing and will have to read the instructions before I can take a photo. This may take some time. Charging up the new battery now so sorry you will have to be patient.

Gee Elle...thats kinda one of those bad news/good news postings....sorry you broke the camera...(bad girl)...but how lucky that there was a brand new "spare" there for you! We'll wait I guess since we have no choice...but not for long. Can't wait to see your latest border!

That is beautiful Elle, I love how you picked out similar colours, which is what I tried to do. Well done for finding a workig camera - I'm sure you will get the new one to go once you have had time to digest the instructions.

Elle, that looks really good with that center! I love the simplicity of it next to the rest of the top....great job!

I'm sure you'll figure out the camera. If you are like me..you might need to read the instructions...again....

It looks wonderful, Elle! Thanks so much! I love how it pulls the whole thing outwards towards the next border!

So glad you like it Jan, While I was looking for another camera I realised that one of the log cabins had been put on upside down, so had to do a quick repair job LOL. Elle
