That fabric is beautiful. Going an hour and a half away to a WM this weekend so will check out the QOM.
We were taught that for every two folds on a bolt it equaled one yard. Each manufacturer had their own amount they placed on the bolts. It could be from 10 - 15 yds depending.

Those fabrics are just lovely! Gonna have to check out my local Walmart as well. Why are there so few fabrics shop around any more? I'm in southeastern Mass. and have only Joanns to buy fabric from, besides Walmart. There was a great store called The Fabric Place but they closed. It was a really nice store, always many customers no matter when you went there. Still looking forward to a trip to Keepsake Quilting in Meredith, NH., but have a feeling that they'll be pricey. Thanks for sharing :)

The Walmarts here in Tallahassee are all doing away with their fabric dept. When they remodel....poof....it's gone!!!! The fabric manager told me to have everyone call 1-800-walmart and tell them to keep or bring back the fabric (if taken out) back in the stores. I call all of the time, but my calls alone can't make a difference. Maybe if we all called, they might listen to us.

I was there over the weekend and bought the marked down qom material for $1.00 a yd. bought 30 yds.!!!! Now reading this means that they will be pulling our material soon :cry: :cry: I do my best to help LQS but material is up to $9.00 +. I only work PT. TOO rich for my blood to buy all my material there. :oops:
