My blocks are in the mail! 175 blocks and a little goodie for our host, who has a BIG job ahead of her. Whew! It feels good to be done. Now on to the batik block swap . . .

I never knew stamps to expire! Don't understand what you're talking about - I'm planning to put mine in a big bubble envelope after putting squares in a zip lock baggie, and mail priority mail.

ohhh, I guess I will go in and have it weighed by post office and than put stamps on it. How about priority mail - does that expire too. This is getting complicated, just as complicated as sending mail to my son's apo address!!! lol

When you go into the post office, tell the person that you want it sent/returned to you as priority mail -- he/she will put the "priority" stamp on both envelopes...

hummmmmmmmm, I wish this was ALL explained earlier -- now I have almost ALL blocks ready except for the last 24, and if I had known this earlier, I wouldn't have enter this swap - being on social security only, funds are limited. I've never been involved in swaps b/4 and I guess I will not get involved again. Sorry. (ohyes, you could been a little more friendlier with your reply - I felt like I was slapped in the face with your answer and if felt like a smart-aleck answer.)
