    I agree: perhaps for a birthday, father's day, or christmas present. I once got a food processor for mother's day, yep, it's still in the box (waiting for him to use it).

    you might wanna rethink the 'boyfriend' part - sheesh...
    my uncle gave my aunt a pressure cooker for Christmas one year - she was not pleased....

    I bought my DH a laptop computer for Mother's Day, now waiting to see what he buys me for Father's Day.

    I agree - buy 'him' a treadle.
