What does this mean?

I thought 'some people will Always complain about something' - but I'm not really sure.

What a WIDE list of sayings - and A LOT of them I have never heard. Thanks

If you are always trying to get even, you'll never get ahead.

Go ask a teenager while they still know every thing!

And of course on my profile "Every man is my superior in that I may learn from him"
This one really hits home as my brother has Down's and he has taught me so much!

One more, I saw this on a bumper sticker of a septic tank cleaning truck!

"Back off or I'll flush!"

He had a part of a submarine hatch or something that looked like it could open and spill out!

My Mother's favorite saying was "People in Hell want ice water." Now the tables have turned and she hears it a lot. So she regrets saying it so much to me.

"Reputation by association" meaning that who you hang out with can determine your social status.

My mom's favorite: There, but for the grace of God, go I.
(usually it was someone homeless).

My dad's was "Suck it up and move on." No, he wasn't military, either!! lol

And my favorite: And this concerns me how?????

That's what it means to me, also. A similar meaning one is--You could stand on the street corner handing out $5 bills and some people would complain because it isn't a $20 bill.
