The room is gorgeous, but I can't rap my head around doing a nursery in black at all. I guess I am so stuck in tradition. It is absolutely beautiful nonetheless!

It's a beautiful color scheme and the room is beautiful. But it doesn't say happy baby to me at all.

That is a stunning room. It appears very restful and peaceful. Beautiful job on the bedding and I love the touch of whimsy added by your embroidery! :-D

Many thanks to all of you for your very nice compliments. I appreciate all of them. She is a very special friend and belive me I would not do this for someone unless they were very special and really appreciated the work and effort that went into this project. Not everyone appreciates or understands what effort goes into doing something like this, but she does and I loved doing it for her and her baby girl.

I have had several PM for the source of the embroidery pattern of the framed piece. It is A Mothers Pocket by Natalie Lymer of Cinderberry Stitches. She is an Australian embroidery designer and has a Blog - www.cinderberrystitches.typepad.com - which tells all about her and her designs.
