Of course, it's on my right sandal (which are new) and I "stick" my way home.
My question is this: How the heck do I get that stuff off the side of my leather sandal? I thought about putting it in the freezer but not sure how well the leather would do with that....Help! (And thanks for letting me vent! :lol: :lol: )

Why, oh why do people litter!! The gum could have been spit out in the trash or put in a bit of paper then in the trash. The diaper could have been walked up to the trash can. Most stores have them out side their stores. Lazy, disgusting people!

I'm always "finding" gum in parkinglots. Hate that.
They should make it like Singapore. Chewing gum is banned there and you can get fined or go to jail for chewing it. I'm serious!! Google it!
Putting the sandel in the freezer for a few minutes won't hurt it. Ask me how I know! hehe
Peanutbutter would work too, but the oils might interact with te leather like someone else mentioned.

Many years ago I lived on a cattle ranch...
the cook could do darn near anything he wanted to with
food, and to my surprise NO one of those tough men ever
griped. Turns out the rules on that place was that anyone
who did not like the food and was stupid enough to say so,
was suddenly the NEW cook next day.
Needless to say, I much preferred to cook at our own cabin!!

An addition to this==this is, of course, to the one whose newsletter
made one lady get a knot in her pantyhose. If it wasn't her own name,
and the president didn't care, what was the harm? Next month there
will be another newsletter, and maybe you could ask the griper if she
could write a column for it. And when you put it in the newsletter...
well, be a bigger person than she was and do not mis spell any of her
words. Be strong. Don't do it.

Sewjoyce... Some wonderful person just took over my place as newsletter chairperson, and if by some chance it was you I truly appreciate what you are doing. Family health issues have forced me to drop it. If it wasn't you, there is always and I mean ALWAYS some person in the guild that has too much time on their hands and has to be a nit picker. Just ignore it and do the best you can. It will be fine and most of the guild will be grateful.
