And I don't think Helen USED to be an artist - she IS an artist!!! LOL ALL of you are artists!!!!
Oh that sounds terrible, how I phrased that...I SHOULD have written she 'used' to paint with oils!!!!! lol!! BUT you all KNOW what I meant didn't you lol!!!!! Thanks for the compliments zyx, I will forward them on to all the group next week!! :D

Henry - the pictures do not do her work justice....she uses single silk thread and applies layer upon layer of different colours and textures, with gold thread - she really has unbelievable talent!! Have you looked at her other work on our website...I posted a link earlier - go have a look, when you get to the pictures click on the image to enlarge it, you can see abit more detail then :D

I am in absolutely jaw dropped awe over Helen's work!!!! WOW!!!!!! I cant' stop admiring it!!!!

You all look you are having so much fun!!!!! I love our Thursday night sewing group here where I live. There are about 4-5 of us that get together every week to work on our projects. We have been doing this now for about 4 years now.

You have so many creative friends in your sewing group Izy!!! Thanks so much for sharing the photos!!! They were beautiful!
