Hmmmm, Phyllis be sure to look into the cost of signage! It might be different where you are but here in CA the longer the name, the higher the cost...and I mean HIGH. Used to own a pizza shop and we tried to keep the name short. But our sign had to have individual letters, thereby the high cost. Signs that are one long piece illuminated behind the name over the plastic might now be as costly.
as to a name suggestion I'll think about it after I see some of the other suggestions.
hey, how bout ... warm quilt hugs?
warm quilt hugs, Sue in Ca

O.k. Friday morning 6/11/10, will be the cut off limit for name suggestions.
I have so many to choose from now! You all have been great! Who knew they were so many possibilities!?
It will be a while before I announce the name as I don't want someone to steal it and then not be able to have it. It will take a little while to get it registered and the business licensed. It will then be a longer while until a store will be opened since we need a name even before we get further in the process.
Continue your good thoughts and prayers.
I will keep you updated.
Happy Quilting

Phyllis, I can't think of a name at the moment, but I sure hope this all works out for you! It would be so exciting to start your own quilt shop. We could all support you with on-line orders! Definitely keep us posted on your progress!

If you are in the trees about Quilting in the Woods?
Are you close to Nashville? We went shop hopping around Nashville and found shops scarce. We found one in Goodlettsville that was very nice, the only other shop we found was on the south side of Nashville, it was a mess. We were very disappointed there were no more quilt shops in that area.

There are many many cute names out there that the domain names are already gone for that reason I would put Phyllis in the name. OTOW, if you want to sell it later you would want the name to be more generic. I will dream on it.
