Dagny, there is nothing you can send me that I will not love and cherish! Thank you for hosting. I think it is an overwhelming task and I appreciate you very much!

I understand Dagny....and why I said only if you approve.

I can't imagine the job you will have sorting/swapping all of these!

Hi
Batiks are specially processed fabric using several dye baths and wax to creature the designs or textures. At the end of the process they are rinsed in very hot water to remove the excess dye and wax. As a result they tend to be very color fast and pre-shrunk. I prewash and dry mine like-colors together. If your still skeptical, Shout makes a product called COLOR CATCHER they look like dryer sheets but they are for the wash and they trap excess dyes. (They really do work well).Hope this info helps

I firmly believe in the Color Catchers!!! You can wash darks and lights together and the colors will not bleed. Great product!

I agree with Kherrin. The Color Catchers are wonderful! I made my first batik blocks and used darks and nearly white, threw in the Color Catcher and you would never know the fabric "bled" other than the color on the Color Catcher. :-)
