That is a great room! Love the rocking chair. I think I'd be there all day doing handwork if I could. Thanks for posting and congrats!!

Wow, love your idea of taking the smaller room and keeping hubby out. LOL My room is small too but it's MINE. Love how organized you are I can see that the Longaberger Baskets are helping with it all. Lucky you !!!!

Why would you put in carpet? I'm thinking pins and threads. How big is this room? I'm very jealous that you can plan your own room!

Neato. A wonderful place for you to create, and have peace and quiet.

I love your new sewing room! I have a rocker just like yours I think? Does it have the "goose neck" arms on it? My little 95 year old aunt was downsizing and moving to Richmond, VA with her daughter when she decided she no longer wanted the rocker. She told my hubby, who was helping her move, to take it to the landfill. He just happen to come by on his way and stopped to show me the "trash she had collected over the years". I went into a tailspin when he told me what she told him to do with it. Needless to say, it came off his truck on the spot!! We took it and had it reupholstered and refinished and it is gorgeous now. My little aunt cried when we showed it to her after the transformation. I offered it back to her but, she declined saying she never anyone would want old junk.
