Great idea but I'm afraid I would pin my wrist.

My SQA gave me a finger cushion which I use often when doing handwork. Sorry, camera out of order so cannot show a pic.

Shopella's wrist cushion has a piece of plastic to prevent yourself from from doing that. My friend's uses leather that she rescued from used clothes like elbow patches. I like these because I have a very small wrist and I can sew the velcro anywhere on the band to fit. With it being cloth my wrist doesn't sweat as much.

A lady at work makes these and she cuts up old belts to use inside instead of plastic.

Great tut. Thank-you for sharing. I got to make these now, for myself and couple quilting buddies.

This pin cushion brings back old memories. My mother made wrist pin cushions in the 50's & 60's. We didn't have velcro then so she used elastic for the band. The pincushion was made out of two pieces of felt with pinked edges. Mother would then decorate with sequins and beads in a corner to make small flowers. I need to make one before I forget about them again!
