Got all my blocks bound, cut dowel rods to hang them on and got them half painted. Completely cleaned out the guest room so the painters can get it done tomorrow. Got the magician's cape cut out. Read lots and lots on the board. Played some solitaire. Read some more. Checked facebook, read some more. Do you see a trend here  Must go clean the kitchen. Hubby made us pizza for dinner and several more for the freezer. He also made chocolate chip cookies this morning. My sister warned me I better watch out. His retirement may put pounds on me!

My goal for this week:
1. don't get fired from my job
2. Pay my bills
3. finish knitting the sweater that I'm almost done with (about 40 rows of cabling on the final sleeve - yay!!)
4. figure out what quilting design to use on the 46" square quilt I finished piecing a couple of weeks ago.

My plans for the Roman Shade just changed. Came home and DH has mounted the chunky shelf even with the top of the window. THANK YOU HONEY! Now I have to make a precise shade that lives INSIDE the window, not one with a little playing room that lives on the outside. grrrrrr. I still plan to do it though.

MY GOAL:
Iron the HUGE HUGE HUGE piles of fabrics sitting in baskets. They're recently purchased and have been washed and dried. I'm really tired of looking at the mess.
HOW WILL I MAKE IT HAPPEN?
Iron *at least* 30 minutes 2 times a day (longer if I have more time on days off).

I just started a quilt for my nephew - he wanted green/black...so I chose the Ohio Star pattern. It's a good two color one...hopefully I can do it justice...lol. It felt good to get back to quilting and cut out something..lol. I just moved to a farm house in the country and there's lots to do fixing up so I got away from quilting for quite awhile.
