JanetM: the faces were done with machine applique. The pattern called for tiny eyes, but I thought the larger ones were better for babies. Thanks all for your very kind, supportive words. What a great group this is!

I just got my book yesterday and I see what you mean about the small eyes. Yours is so much nicer, the faces look so much better with big eyes. Love it.

Watson's Mom: aren't there darling things in that book? I'd like to make more of them, I love the sea creatures, the lambs and especially the door hanger that says 'You wake Him..you take him'! It's a great book!
