I try and sew everyday , it does help I think if you have sewing room that way you can just shut the door and leave everthing out ready to go for your next spare five minutes .I do wish there was 36 hours in a day so we could have 12 for sewing , it is my idea of heaven on earth .

I feel LOTS beter knowing I am not alone in 'feeling left of center' when I dont get to do quilt stuff!! Lots of Life Happenings going on around my house for the last year or so nd my disposition shows it!! Sometimes I stay up all night so I can work undisturbed and get calmed and focused again...centered is a very appropriate word! I NEED to sew, craft, quilt, create for some hours everyday and I can accomplish a lot that way. Just has not happened a lot lately.

Yes now that I am retired I do sew everyday, and those charm packs have spoiled me, as I like to make table runners, toppers and wall hangers, I like to piece quilts also, and then hire them machine quilted, we have a craft fair at Christmas time and I sell a lot of these items, then I can go buy more fabric,,,,,i copy patterns off the computer...I also like to hand quilt the smaller items......

What a great idea! I tend to not sew or do quilt related things if "life happens", but I could do 15 min a day. Thanks you. :D

I try to do some thing quilt related every day for at least 15 minutes or so, except Saturday and Sunday which are my on the lake days. I work from home but I have a schedule and have to watch my emails - If not on the board or no loans to do then I will, hand quilt, binding, or go in the other room and sew. But I still don't get done all that I wanto to. Ummm... imagine that... :)

I go in spurts. Yesterday I worked on a quilt for my church's entrance and started at 9am and worked until 5 pm. I seem to get manic. I'll sew, sew, sew for days (4-8 hrs. a day) and then I get sidetracked and may not sew for 2-3 days.
