Scrappy Material
#13
Thanks everyone for all of your lovely comments...Yep I am having waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay toooo much fun here with my scraps.
The lady that told us how to be more organized...she said to get one of those flatter type hard plastic storage containers with a lid that flips open and she said to put all of your cut scraps in there like your cut 2 inch size squares, your triangles, your bigger cut size squares and so on. She had like four of these containers and they were all full of her scrap cut material and that included strips too.
There was a lock on each side of these plastic storge containers so you can lock your lid shut so it doesn't flip open. They are the clear plastic containers and she got them at Target and I think they were in the Scrapping Book Department.
But my plastic small zip lock bags will do for now though.
Today while I was at the Fabric Shop I got more pieces of Scraps from the shop owner. I'm going to leave that alone as one big square.
I now have all of my Sashing on my Purple Scrappy Quilt and I'm getting ready to sew the borders on it sometime over the weekend. Than it will be ready for my backing/batting.
I will post another picture of my Purple Scrappy Quilt here in a few minutes.

No....for one reason is because I don't have room for a million containers right now and I have a real large plastic Storage tub that is just for my quilting so that is where I am keeping these at is in my Quilting Storage Tub in small plastic zip lock bags.

I too have been organizing my scraps, I have found 3 tops that I have organized into 3 zip lock bags. I also have two 3 drawer plastic containers that I have put my 2.5" strips in 1 drawer for lights, 1 for darks.
