Several years ago, I made 16 stockings for my family (including the puppy dogs, of course). This year I am making 13 more stockings for friends. It takes a while, but I do them in a production line approach. Right now I'm doing free motion quilting on the fabric, so I'll be finished . . . before Christmas!

back of each stocking had a little message from me

Last year I made Lazy Girl purses for all the women on my list. The version I made is called the "Gracie Bag." I used fabric that was personalized for each lady (fabric with coffee cups for a friend who is a caffeine fiend, gardening fabric for my mother, etc.) I also made one of these bags in pink -- it will be a small diaper bag for a friend's new baby.

I making a quilt for my sister and her hubby for Christmas. Also making potholders, pillowcases, couple purses, the BT and a little berry coin purse. I'm also making an "altered book", the title is "How to sew on a button" and it's for my son. The front cover will be a large button and the back cover will be a belly cutton. So far I'm having lots of fun gathering ideas for the pages.

I make potholders for our bowling league. Am looking at small wall hangings, Mug Rugs (Mats), Candle Mats and not sure what else yet.

Last Christmas I made 16 sets of Oven Mitts and 16 sets of Hot Pads for my family and friends. This was a last minute gift idea I had, I started them all on fourth of December and completed them all in 2 weeks.

This year I am doing Place Mats and Napkins, I have already started them and should not have to be in as much of a rush to finish, like I found I was last year .

Oops~ I guess I've been under a rock. I've never heard of these bags. Tell me more.

Edit: How cool. Got curious and googled.
