How exciting!! Congrats to you and your family! They do grow fast, before you know it they'll be asking for car keys, and getting married, and having babies of their own!! Oh my... just be sure to take the time to savor all of it, like someone else pointed out, quilting will wait, and you can always sneak in a little when you have withdrawals!

That's wonderful. Congratulations. Now you will need to make quilts even more for therapy.

My baby is 17. He was an a major surprise package as my other 2 were 11 & 16 when he was born. Don't know what I would have done with out him. He is truly a gift from God. At the time I thought my world had come to an end. He has 2 years of school left at home & then off to college. I don't know how I'm gonna handle this. Just the thought of him leaving home is killing me. The joke is when he graduates they will have to carry out his mother & big sister on stretchers as we will be totally disvastated. Enjoy the new one as he will be grown before you know it. It seems like yesterday that my angel was born.

No they aren't over but you will have to look for times when you can do it. My son had 3 children planned, well is youngest wasn't now he has 3 boys and his oldest is a girl. His wife home schools says there are times you just have to make time for self. Congrats on the news and enjoy. now you have a baby quilt to make for yourself. ;-)

That's wonderful, but your quilting days aren't over. Now you have even more reasons to quilt.

Congratulations! Your quilting may be put on hold for awhile but you'll find ways and times to fit it in eventually. :)
