At quilterscache I could only find templates for a 12" hunter star. All others I found where also that size.
I do not want to buy this special ruler and need only printable templates. Can anyone help?

thank you so much but I am looking for a 8" finished block. So four of the one you send for download.
I mean a block with a star in the middle and a quarter of a star in each corner.

Do you have any idea with what kind of %age I could print those templates to get the desired size?
I am such a computer dummy.....

Ahhhh.... sorry....

Try this one. :D

This is four inch, so you make four of these, put them together, and you will end up with an 8 inch block with a star in the middle and the quarter stars in the corners.
