Yep, this one is for our house (though I suspect I'll not be the only one using it :) )

I believe the pattern is called Trip Around the World, although I didn't know that when I started making the quilt. I started with this pattern from about.com http://quilting.about.com/od/babyqui...ybabyquilt.htm

I played around with some different colours until I found a combination I liked and added some extra squares to make it a bit bigger (I wanted a lap quilt rather than a baby quilt). I then added on borders to make it bigger again. I think it ended up around 50 x 60 (haven't measured it yet to find out exactly how big it is :lol: )

Your piecing and quilting are really nice! It definitely doesn't look like your first quilt. I can forsee lots of beautiful quilts coming out of your sewing room.

Nice work. I am always amazed of some people's first quilt. I only wish mine looked as good. You will be a pro in no time.
