Thats why we are here! Litacats, did you get the tale of the war, when the Major asked Send reinforcements, we're going to advance, and by the time it got to HQ, the message was Send four and sixpence, we're going to a dance??

I am glad you made the post. I have also missed seeing people I enjoy interacting with. I have checked their posts and updated topics lists to see if they have made any post. Sometimes I will send them a pm to say hello. The PDA section is helpful when they have a diary because we can see what was happening in their life when they stopped posting. Life moves on for all of us and it doesn't always include internet time. For those who stop using the board I will miss them and hope they will someday have the opportunity to come back and share with us again. I will continue learning from the active members.

crazy summertime business...i try to get here everyday, but wow, it's been crazy busy this summer...i have friends who have told me..."i never sew in the summertime, i'll get back at it after labor day" well, i could not for the life of me understand that...i've always got lots done in the summer...UNTIL THIS SUMMER! boy, i have piles backed up, i'm trying to sew in the summer but i have not been as productive by far as i'd like to be or used to be...
of course, weather wise this has been the best summer we've had in years; my work schedule experiencing a drastic change has added ; it just seems like i am always on the go...if it were not for the fact i can bring the laptop to work with me you would not be seeing me at all this summer, i'm just lucky to have some time during my work hours to at least sort of keep up with the board.

Since I retired June 2nd, I have been busy at home, I have finished 1 quilt and made 3 others. See I really have been busy. I have lots and lots of fabrics I want to get made into quilts. I get on the board in the evenings. Before I retired I had lots of time at work. as I was training my Daughter to take over my job along with hers, I only had to over see and that left me with lots of free time.

forums and boards are like life, everchanging. Nothing stays the same, that's a good thing, growth is a good thing.

I don't know about locking people out, but I think I have come close. Not sure whether this message will be deleted. I have had two of my postings deleted, and I guess my comments are not acceptable. I really enjoy all of you and your postings, the education and entertainment. :)

this board is as good as you make it. be positive, share what you came here to learn. The rest is superfluous. That's okay, but not why you come here, Right?
