I tell EVERYONE who knows how to sew a straight line, they can make beautiful quilts. I haven't progressed much beyond that, not for lack of desire but for lack of time.
There is so much need in the world for quilts. I have heard stories from viet Nam vets about the quilts they still have.

Find a local quilt shop or guild. Quilters are very generous with advice, help & praise.

Does anyone have an easy pattern for this just off the top of your head? I think warm wishes would be good but I would like to make the actual strips bigger than the pattern calls for. Not good at math. I'm looking forward to getting involved in such an awesome cause!
