Yes, Joann's is about 5 miles north from where I live. We also have a Beverly's about the same distance west of my house. Beverly's carries nicer fabric but Joann's has better coupons! Therefore I shop at both depending on what I need. It is very nice having both to chose from. My retirement gift from the staff at the school where I taught for 35 years was a gift card from Beverly's. I just finished using it last month. I know what I will ask for for Christmas from my husband this year!

Yes, about 10 miles from me. And, I am a regular there. My neighbot asked if I would make 2 quilts for her GDs and the best coordinating fabrice for the quilts we had in mind was found at JoAnns. The coupons are great for backing, batting, etc. Enjoy.

After reading the replies here I realize how lucky I am. We have a JoAnn's 2 miles from my home - and I have the charge card so I get gift cards every month - I charge everything so I get more gift cards. And we also have a wonderful quilt store about 15 miles away and another one about 45 minutes away. I thought I didn't have enough choices for fabric.

You can get the coupons on-line and once the store opens, sign-up on the mailing list and coupons will arrive for 40% off a regular priced item.

Enjoy your new fabric experience. Half the fun is touching!

Patricia

Not only nearby, but a superstore! It's about 5 miles from my house.
