I mainly paper piece and love it! It's like putting a jig saw puzzle together. A couple of weeks ago I sent in a couple of pics of my first FM quilting project......a table runner. That was all paper pieced. Attached is a picture of some pictures that I've done and they are then slipped over a 5x7 acrylic picture frame. They are a lot of fun to make and I started out making one for each month. They are nice when you don't have much room to display a project because of grand kids pics and counted xstitch project, etc. A friend of mine was making them and shared the project with me. I haven't seen them anywhere.

I have not done paper piecing but I have a Judy Neimeyer pattern and my fabrics for that quilt. Reading your comments, I just can't wait to get started. I would think that picking paper from the back would be good TV work. WOO HOO Can't wait.

I would love to paper piece but afraid I won't understand it. I have a few beginner patterns but haven't found the nerve to get started.

I love Paper Pieceing and have been doing it for a long time now. As for Lancaster I have been there before and in September our Quilt Guild has a bus trip up there and we are going to go to the different Quilt Shops. Lancaster is not that far from my house here in Delaware.

I love paper piecing. The first thing I did was 3d paper piecing. I fell in love with it. This woman has the most wonderful patterns and so many tutorials on her site. Wonderful stuff. I just bought one of her books and made a darling quilt with 3d flowers all over it. Too pretty. http://thimble-art.com/
