Cissy, can you help me? I'm trying to do the same thing, share files like you have from EQ. I have EQ 5. I have some foundation pieced templates I want to share, but it won't let me save them to a file like you have. It only gives me the option of physically printing them.

Can you help me out and tell me how you saved those files so that you could upload them?

    Thanks.

Hi Cordelia, you have to convert your EQ files to PDF files using a program called a PDF writer. I use this one:

    http://www.cutepdf.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp

It's free and easy to use. To convert the block or quilt to a pdf file just select your print option (in your EQ program) and then select the cutepdf writer as your printer. It will automatically save the blocks and quilts as a pdf in a folder of your choice.

I am using this website to store my EQ and PDF files:

    http://www.box.net

It's free for a small amount of storage or you can pay if you need larger storage.

    Hope this helps.

Thank you so much! I have a mystery quilt thread going and I need to be able to share the template for the pattern and have been in the technical difficulty of not knowing how to do it! (I thought I would just save them to a file and then upload the file as an attachment. But, can't do it!)

Thank you again. I'm on my way there now to get set up! Thanks again for the links.

By the way, I love your pattern and thank you so much for sharing it with us. I'm saving it too. If you like mine from the mystery quilt thread, please save it.
