I vote for the one on the right. Light in the middle to dark on the outer edges. I think it has more movement. Really sharp.

I like the one on the right.

Maybe try adding a touch of white to the center area of the one on the left and see what that does. Right now it is too dark for me personally. But hey, that's why there is chocolate and vanilla, and it is ALL good.

It would depend on where this was going to be used and what YOU want the focus to be.

Personal preference is what determines use.

I like the second one also (#2)
I do wonder what it would like with one of the other's suggestion of switching out the center black square to a white one. Might be interesting!

I see what you are saying about the eye staying in one place on the #2 set, but it is really very restful for the eyes. Think of it in that section of 4's. I like #2
