I was never a big fan of flying geese, but I make a pillow from the Flying Duchman block and now I love them!!! Both are gorgeous, but I love the way you framed the FD.

That's alot of triangles, they are both nice . How long did the second quilt take to make? I am afriad to start on something like that. Like I said I new to qulting.

Thanks for your wonderful comments. The green one went to a nephew and his fiance for a shower gift. The label read "May all your dreams come true."

Most of the pieces from the Flying geese were fom a swap. After a year of collecting them I put this quilt together.
We could make our HST in white or off white so that is why it took so long.
