Hello from Ohio. Cone shaped? As in like an ice cream cone?
Can you send pictures?

i don't have a picture but it's in the quilt magazine. it's not the icecream cone but i think it's made from that concept it's just the cone no top. i got the pattern and template. and like an idjit i cut the pieces and pinned but i can't figure out how to sew the the two rows together.

Can you tell us what magazine it is in? I am sure there are many people who have the same magazine and can help you out.

Wow! I found this by googling, but I don't know if a link can be posted to a pdf. Looks like a fun quilt, but I have never done anythng where the strips that sewn together have curved edges. I am sure there are many people that have. Hopefully they will weigh in on this and help. I would be interested to hear the easiest way to do this.

Here's the link she was talking about. It looks cool. I may have to try this myself!

thats the link i got the template it shows a picture of how to piece it but does not tell me how to sew the two rows together. like turning the same face together or sew ontop of one to the other im so stumped and as i said i already cut out all the pieces needed to do the quilt. i pinned the first two rows then ran into sewing problems. i need the quilt by the end of next month and do not want to buy new material and find another pattern. i looked everywhere on the computor for help then turned here for more.

ok maybe i went on quilt panick.. i did the pinning again just now and it seems to be working. i think i just panicked when i turned the rows together to sew and they didn't seem they would work that way. thought i needed more information to be able to finish it.
