    This is a great idea. It would definitely make ripping out seams a lot less painful. My son gave me a crystal candy dish for Christmas. I'm going to fill it with candy and only take a piece when I have to rip out a seam. :D :D :D

    Same here. I do keep a bottle of water near and drink it.
    I am too interested in my seams, etc to eat while sewing.

    A mug with a cap on it with iced water. At least if I knock it over its just water although the lid has a sliding closure, so it usually doesn't spill if knocked over.
