I just think hand quilting is "quilting". I am going to try to quilt on machine just to be able to do them faster, but will still hand quilt special ones.

just think hand quilting is "quilting". I am going to try to quilt on machine just to be able to do them faster, but will still hand quilt special ones.

I agree. I also like tied quilts and have done that in the past. I've also sent a couple quilts to be hand quilted. My Avatar quilt is hand quilted by these wonderfult quilters in Rossville, IA. I have just learned to FMQ and have done that on my last two quilts but I still really like the look of handquilting better and yours are very inspiring.

Your Avatar quilt is beautiful. I love quilts! I made two corduroy quilts that I tied. Comfy quilts for hubby and grandson.
