Go for it, I like the border as it picks up the purple in the fabric. Neat quilt.

I like the color, but I would go with a little small print. The white on lavender takes my eye from your quilt, which is beautiful

I love that fabric. But for the border it has too definite of a pattern/presense....and pulls my eye away from the center. I don't think the color is too dark -- just the busyness of the pattern. By the way, if you decide not to use it for the border, and I KNOW you won't use it anyway, you just send it on to me. :-)

I agree...maybe if you used it for a thin border to get the color, but not much of the pattern, then did a black border. I believe you already said you didn't have any of the florals left.
