Gosh, I love that pattern! I would like being able to copy that one, but I do 't think my design skills and math skills are good enough.
PS. Most of my quilts will be "crappy quilts".LOL

Lots of love gathered in that quilt after 17 yrs. Now you and he can warm each other with it.

What a beautiful quilt. People do say the darndest things. I'm sure you wished you had gotten it out a long time ago. At least you can enjoy it now with your appreciation for quiting. Your husband also changed his mind about having a quilt so perhaps timing was everything.

I am so glad you are now using the quilt. That's what it was made for.

The quilt is magnificent and I wish I could start on one like it tonite!!! The story is too familiar and people' s mouths should come with a warning label!! personally, it is amazing that I ever learned to walk because I usually keep at least one foot in my mouth!!! AND the post about the "crappy" quilt made me laugh so hard I nearly fell out of my chair!!! you guys are WONDERFUL!!

Gorgeous! Grandma Clark should have known that a man would probably have no interest in owning something this awesome. Good thing you stayed married so it didn't become an issue. (Is that the secret to the longevity of your marriage? You didn't want to give up this quilt?) Good reason!

How funny. Grannie must have had lots of spunk. It's a really pretty quilt.
