I like the color combination. I've never done one with a dark center, but it's neat looking. Such a fun pattern to make.

Penny quilted this one for me also.
She used a variegated thread that matched the colors in the batik.

THe quilt is actually nicer than the photos depict....black is really hard to photograph (I think).
