I have always done hand quilting but I am slow at it, thus I have a back log of quilt tops waiting to be finished. If I could stop washing, cooking, cleaning,....maybe I could quilt more.

Welcome from California. I grew up in Iowa in Milo (east of Indianola), Chariton and Des Moines. I have a sister & brother in Des Moines, and a sister in a nursing home (97 years old) in Cedar Rapids. I flew back this summer to DM. My sis & bro and I went to Cedar Rapids with a nephew and met another niece to visit sister in Cedar Rapids. She was so overwhelmed she got confused at first as to who we all were. Then she settled in and said she felt like she was in a dream. Wonderful warm day!
