Hello
To find classes in your area go to Betty Cotton's website and look under Cotton Theory Instructors, they are all listed by State, so I am sure there will be some near you. Let me know what you find out. Thank you for the complement.

I went to the web site and found a person that might be relatively close -- will get in touch with her. Thanks so much for the link! :D

Hello Bellevue
I checked on Cotton Theory Instructors and there is one in Bellevue, Ray Smith. If this person does not want to do a class I would love to zoom down and do a class for you and your friends!

I am sorry I have not checked back on this in a long time. I will post pics of jacket and the first quilt that I did using the Cotton Theory method.

Hello Mrs. Cotton Theory,

I see that you posted your original inquiry back in April -- I am just now doing a search on the website looking for quilters who do Cotton Theory. I, too, am certified in the Cotton Theory Method. Love the fact that I can do this on my domestic sewing machine. I am just getting in making Cotton Theory quilts, so I will show you the only one I have ever completed. This is a scrappy quilt that I designed -- not a smart thing to do for a first quilt. This one is 52" x 52".

Look closely and you can see that I quilted this block like Betty's tulip placemat.

Hello to Boston Terrier mom
Thank you for the complements. Your quilt is stunning and yes, to think we can do this work on our domestic machines and claim fame for all the work! :)
I am waiting to get back to Arizona to get started on more CT projects, too many jobs this summer got in the way.
Happy sewing and thank you for sharing. Helen

Welcome to the Board! I've heard of the Cotton Theory and have wanted to learn more. Someday when I feel richer I will buy the books and dvd.
