it looks fine the way it is i made a quilt like this and took it to work with me to quilt and i ended up having a hardtime getting out with my quilt you would be surprised how many people look for many colors and bright colors in a quilt i had to make the same quilt three time over that is how hot in demand it was

You might consider cutting the large pieces on a diagonal and then mixing the up with a few dark prints like happy faces. The colors are great.:)

I love it the way it is, I was a dental assistant for 23 yrs before I became disabled. an the pateins need bright and happy. God bless.

I would put more embellishment on top, but not outlining the blocks so much as echoing the shapes with some other funky material as perhaps black and white stripes or dotty material - not solid shapes, but outlines made with the material so that your quilt peeks through. Then it would look very funky. I like discordant colours - it just needs a bit more pizzaz! Try cutting out the flower shapes or atom shapes outlines in the stripy material and placing the shape in the blank spaces or overlapping the other flowers slightly.

I would add a blue border to match the blue square in the middle there... that would be really cool and wrap it all up nicely.
