You did a wonderful job on your sewing room. It looks great!

The first thing I noticed was that your black quilt was nowhere to be seen. So glad that you're putting it in the livingroom. It's gorgeous and deserves to be seen and admired by the masses!!!!!!!

Messing up your sparkling clean room only hurts the first time. After that it's a piece of cake and seems to come naturally. Have a blast in your new digs!!!!

OMG I really am. I go down and try to take one section at a time but right now I just come back upstairs. Hopefully soon. So far I've decided to utilize both rooms downstairs. I have 4 cabinets with fabric not organized but in there anyway lol I have cutting table up, sewing machine on the table and my ironing board made. That's as far as I got. grrrrrrr I hate this disorganization,[/quote]

That's what happened to me. I'd go in there to work on something and the disorder would be so bad that I'd get frustrated and walk out. I was spending more and more time trying to find things or move stuff out of the way to get to what I wanted that I wasn't sewing anymore. I'm pretty good withdisorder if I know where everything is. When I worked my desk might look like a disaster but I knew where everything was and what stage it was in and what piece of info I needed to complete the project. But the sewing room was way beyond that, it had slid into chaos (at least that's what it felt like).

Great job. Come on over and I will let you organize my room that is full with a hospital bed, an old PC and about 3 printers plus TV three bookshelves etc.

Oh I have that to look forward to. I have been trying to get my room done. I just hope its finished soon. Trying to figure out how to set up embroidery machine, sewing machine and etc. I like to see out the window so I have to decide which machine will sit in that spot.

I used to paint, also. Painted candles, my walls, vases, you name it - I painted it. Now my paints are sitting drying up, I guess.
Why not get them back out and paint a quilt it is not as hard as you think.

Beautiful sewing/quilting room. I hope to have one like it one day. My daughter works at Ikea so I'll be all set when the time comes!
