I live in Wyoming and I am familiar with all of those things they are chaps, gun holsters and gloves the chaps are worn for all kinds of protection I also have a son-in-law who makes them

I'm making a cowboy quilt for my son who is a ferrier. Where did you find the fabric at? I love it.

I'd use the lighter fabric. The chaps, etc look mushed together on the darker fabric.

Gloves, chaps and belt buckles. I like the light background better. The dark background doesn't have enough contrast between the dark chaps and the background, I think.

at first I thought these were photos of chaps and gloves,. Beautiful fabric, both of them. These fabrics would make great post cards...where did you get it? Do you have a mfg name on the selvage? I love both.....

I think the lighter one details the print better. But, like I commented to another quilter, it depends on how you're using it and what affect you want.
