These blocks are beautiful. I like the white because it makes the blocks stand out more.

I like the paler yellow for the sashing that matches the centers of the blocks. If you use the white, I think it's too wide with the 9 patches width. Too much blank space there. Maybe going with the 9patch, 2 strips of white with a strip of yellow in the center, to break up that wide patch of white between each square.

I always thought that sashing was meant to set off/compliment each individual block so it would stand out more. This is accomplished using the yellow sashing. White sashing eliminates that enhancement. For future blocks, in order to maintain an all white background why not just increase the size of the finished block and eliminate sashing altogether? This would also eliminate all the extra cutting and piecing required to insert the sashing. Am I out of line here? Hope not. Sorry, forgot to actually answer your question. I go with the yellow because it's a nice contrast and also blends with the center of each of your flowers. You have some other very pretty colors that would blend well so you really have a nice choice..

How abput picking a sashing color that matches the room the quilt will be used in and keep it light. Used in blue room/light blue sashing. If unknown then use light yellow or the person's favorite color

The white seems boring to me and the bright yellow is too much. I think if you made the sashing the same yellow as the center of the blocks that would really tie it all together.

Beautiful blocks. Brilliant colors. I really like the light yellow sashing with the 9 patch corner stones. Can't wait to see it finished!
