    Your first project?? WOWZA that is beautiful! I wish my first (several) projects looked that good.

    I love samplers and tend to make them for the people I cherish the most. I made one for my Grandmother last year and have spent this year making a huge 25 block sampler, now in the hand quilting stage, for my husband for our wedding anniversary.

    I find I have a hard time doing the one block repeats and not getting bored with it. But the quilter's on this board are excellent inspiration to get me to try all kinds of things.

    I'm not familiar with the term calendar block, was that a block of the month or are they listed somewhere on a calendar?
