One tip I have stumbled upon is separating them by color I have a huge bin for each color and that way my quilts have a "planned" look to them at times ie a blue & white quilt or I can really mix it up if I want. Scrap quilts are my favorite thing to make no 2 are ever the same!
Great idea!

Hi, I'm in even though I probably won't start til after the holidays. I do have a good amount of scraps. I have sorted them by color in bags and tied the bag at the top with a piece of the fabric color. Thanks for the website; I will check it out. Always looking for new ideas on how to do things easier and neater.

Hi,

I love your idea....I haven't quilted for a long time but I'm just getting back into it. Mostly because I just lost my mother last month to Alzheimers and my Dad returned my first wall quilt I ever made in which I made for my mother...it has given me inspiration to get my sewing room in order and back into quilting which I truly love.

We need to have our quilt done by this Christmas?

Again what a great idea.

Sorry for your lost but if you are just getting back to quilting how about doing a wheel chair quilt for a nursing home , VA hosp or someplace? Doesn't have to be show quality but will be more appreciated than any show quilt. May your God Bless you and yours

I am currently working on a sew along from another board. I love doing these and I didn't by any fabric to work on it. I wish I knew how to post a pic here.

What is this "mile a minute" block? I have never heard of it.
